I
wanna hear a poem.
A
poem about why society is letting people get away with things we’ve never seen
before.
A
poem about why most teens have no place to go,
Where 12 year old get drunk and high, and don’t give
their future a try.
I
wanna hear a poem.
A
poem about why many of those helpless people don’t have a person by their side,
To
give them hopes and get them to understand they have a certain amount of time.
A
certain amount of time to be someone greater in life and may not live with the
dissatisfaction.
He
or she could look into becoming a lawyer who spends his or her days and nights
on a good advocation.
I
wanna hear a true poem.
A
poem that isn’t full with words that have no meaning.
Or
a poem that is just harsh and demeaning.
You
know, those kind of poems in which our lives can take a little piece of it.
Where
every word and phrase sticks to you and isn’t something you easily forget.
I
wanna hear a poem, not just any kind of poem.
That
kind that speak about why we are so full of ourselves and can’t get over the
ego we own.
A
poem that gets you to reflect on everything you see when you look around.
I
wanna hear a poem where our nation, “The Melting Pot” as we know it, can come
as one.
Speaking
about stopping our bickering towards each other and gladly renounce peace has
won!
I
don’t wanna hear a poem about who is wrong and who is right.
Not
even a poem about who is stronger and won the fight.
You
know, I just wanna hear a poem.
M.A.S
You had a very strong performance in class.
